  • Venue: Access Space at Event Central, 26 Fargate, Sheffield S1 2HE (opp. Marks and Spencer)
  • Time: 6pm-8pm, Tuesday 22 November 2022
  • Cost: Free, but please sign up here so we know how many to expect, and can let you know of any last-minute changes!
  • Imposters welcome! This is an informal, low-stress meetup for people interested in patterns of any kind, where we do some workshop-type activities around them. No particular technical, craft or artistic experience required or assumed.

A meetup for people interested in ‘algorithmic patterns’, in live coding and other creative practices.

For this second meet we’ll take a beginner-friendly look at Strudel, the free/open source live coding environment for live coding and algorithmic music in the web browser. The session will be lead by Alex McLean, the instigator of the project.

Please bring a laptop, tablet or similar device to get hands-on with Strudel. It should run on just about anything without any fuss, but let Alex know if you have problems!
